We provide a platform for professionals to list their services and for subscribers to discover, evaluate, and connect with practitioners.

Somatic Connect does not provide professional coaching, therapeutic, or medical services directly. All professionals on our platform are independent practitioners.

By using this platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian to use our services.

2. User Accounts & Registration

To access certain features of Somatic Connect, you may need to create an account as either a Subscriber or a Professional.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior.

3. For Subscribers

Booking & Sessions

• Subscribers can browse professional profiles, view credentials, read reviews, and book sessions directly through the platform.
• All session bookings, scheduling, and payments are subject to the individual professional's policies and availability.
• Subscribers are responsible for communicating session requirements, health considerations, and preferences directly to their chosen professional.

Professional Verification

• While we encourage professionals to provide accurate credentials and information, subscribers are responsible for verifying qualifications, certifications, and suitability before engaging services.
• Somatic Connect does not guarantee the accuracy, competence, or quality of services provided by independent professionals.

Reviews & Feedback

• Subscribers may leave honest reviews based on their experience with professionals.
• Reviews must be truthful, respectful, and not contain defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate content.
• We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our community guidelines.

4. For Professionals

Profile & Credentials

• Professionals must provide accurate information about their qualifications, certifications, experience, and services offered.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining valid licenses, insurance, and compliance with local regulations governing your practice.
• Misrepresentation of credentials or fraudulent claims may result in immediate account termination.

Service Delivery

• Professionals are independent contractors and are solely responsible for the services they provide to subscribers.
• You must maintain professional standards, ethical conduct, and respect client confidentiality at all times.
• You are responsible for setting your own rates, availability, cancellation policies, and terms of service.

Payments & Fees

• Professionals may be subject to platform fees or commission charges for bookings facilitated through Somatic Connect.
• Payment processing, refund policies, and dispute resolution are governed by the professional's individual terms and our platform policies.

5. Payments & Transactions

Payments for sessions or services are processed through our secure payment system via Stripe or other third-party payment processors.

All fees, session rates, and charges are determined by the individual professional and clearly displayed before booking.

Somatic Connect may charge a platform fee or commission on transactions, which will be disclosed to professionals during registration.

Pricing is listed in USD, and we reserve the right to update platform fees with prior notice to professionals.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are set by each individual professional and should be reviewed before booking a session.

Subscribers should contact the professional directly to request cancellations or reschedules according to their stated policy.

Somatic Connect is not responsible for disputes regarding cancellations, no-shows, or refunds between subscribers and professionals.

In cases of platform errors or technical issues preventing service delivery, subscribers should contact our support team at service@somatic-connect.com.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of Somatic Connect is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Both subscribers and professionals are responsible for maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy in their communications and sessions.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in the following activities:

• Misrepresenting credentials, qualifications, or identity
• Engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal behavior
• Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users
• Posting inappropriate, offensive, or defamatory content
• Attempting to circumvent platform fees by conducting transactions outside the platform
• Using automated systems or bots to access or manipulate the platform

9. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and materials on Somatic Connect are the property of Somatic Connect or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from the platform without written permission.

Professionals retain ownership of their profile content, images, and materials but grant Somatic Connect a license to display such content on the platform.

Somatic Connect is a marketplace platform and does not provide professional services directly. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, legality, or outcomes of services provided by independent professionals
• Any damages, injuries, losses, or disputes arising from professional-subscriber interactions
• The accuracy or completeness of information provided by professionals or subscribers
• Technical issues, service interruptions, or errors on the platform

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Somatic Connect disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform and services.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Somatic Connect in the past 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Somatic Connect, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the platform

Any disputes between subscribers and professionals should be resolved directly between the parties involved.

If mediation is required, both parties may contact Somatic Connect support for assistance, but we are not obligated to intervene in disputes.

Any disputes between you and Somatic Connect shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and resolved through binding arbitration.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or platform features.
